Decommissioning

You can follow these instructions to fully remove Centero Carillon from your environment. It's recommended to remove client components first, and server components last.

Remove client components

You can remove client components manually from device's control panel, or by creating a uninstall type deployment from your device management system (MECM, Intune etc.)

You need to uninstall the following applications in the specified order:

  1. Centero Carillon
  2. Centero Agent

Remove server components:

To remove server components, you need to uninstall the following applications and configurations from Carillon server in the specified order:

  1. Uninstall Centero Carillon (if installed)
  2. Uninstall Centero Agent (if installed)
  3. Uninstall Centero Agent Gateway (if installed)
  4. Uninstall Centero Portal (if installed)
  5. Remove Carillon SQL database
  6. From IIS Manager, make sure Centero Agent Gateway and Carillon Portal sites and applications pools have been removed
    • If sites and application pools still exists, you need to first remove sites and then the application pools
  7. Remove Centero Agent Gateway and Carillon Portal site folders

Remove Azure AD components:

Uninstall Carillon Azure AD components in the following order, if your Carillon environment was installed as Azure app service or you've connected Carillon to Azure AD

  1. Delete Centero Agent Gateway Azure App Service (if installed)
  2. Delete Centero Portal Azure App Service (if installed)
  3. Delete Carillon SQL database
  4. Delete Carillon Azure AD App Registration (if configured)
